Now I’ve always known the difference between the two, but I have been noticing lately that more & more people have been adding an extra “O” whenever they are talking about losing. The words “than” and “then” tend to be misused frequently. In order to simplify things, here is one simple rule that you need to remember: the only time you use than is when you are comparing something to another. If you’re anything like me, it must drive you absolutely mad when someone uses the wrong form of homophones.
