Entries from April 2009
I wrote a little review of this last week & I just wanted to write a quick update. I can’t remember the exact version number of the first one, 1.5.0.? but yesterday I upgraded to v. 1.5.0.32 & there aren’t any major changes with this upgrade except for one thing that I noticed.
No, they haven’t changed the way it looks yet, but (more…)

I had mentioned this bill in a previous post called disturbed, but I want to mention it again here because that last time I spoke about it, the President hadn’t signed it yet. In case you’re wondering, I’m talking about H.R. 1388, also known as the G.I.V.E. Act. I just found out today that it became a law on April 21, 2009. In its first few drafts (more…)

I heard about this a few months ago & Blackberry officially released the new version, I believe today or maybe a day or so ago. I knew the release of the new version would have to be sometime soon because a few weeks ago I noticed that the Facebook application had disappeared from the Blackberry App World. (more…)

I called my bank (more…)

I have become obsessed with frozen yogurt lately. It’s probably the ONLY thing I will ever pick over ice cream. But, having tried it at other places, I have to say that Pinkberry is a bit overrated (no offense to Pinkberry lovers).
There are two kinds of frozen yogurt places, (more…)

I adopted my friend’s cat a couple days ago & she’s just the sweetest thing ever. Of course my cat is not very fond of her yet. My cat, Nala, is about 10 months old & I don’t think she’s been around other cats before we took her in. This new addition to our household, who we renamed Sarafina (Nala’s mom’s name in The Lion King), is about 4 years old.
It’s just funny watching the two (more…)

My friend got me hooked on the VH1 show Tough Love recently. If you’re not familiar with the show, it’s basically about these girls who can’t seem to find love & they can’t figure out why. It’s hosted by Steve Ward, who’s a professional matchmaker. He helps the women out by telling them what they need to hear (tough love), rather than (more…)

I’ve been going through the book of 1 Samuel for my readings and today (well technically yesterday) I read 1 Samuel 15. If you’re not familiar with the story, here’s some background. Sometime around the time of Samuel the Prophet, Israel begins to demand that God give them a King (1 Samuel 8). Of course this make Samuel furious (more…)
